Armadillo’s Ice Cream Shoppe opened its doors in the spring of 1996. However, the dream started three years earlier as the owners, over a three-year period, visited an ice cream shop called the Zesto. Their concept was extraordinary and we felt it would be a good match for Rapid City.
We purchased a building on the corner of 2nd Street and Main Street. It has proven to be a great location as it is an easy in and out for our customers. There is more than enough parking, with great inside or outside seating, to sit back and enjoy your ice cream treat or food. With over 25 employees to serve you, your visit will be a special experience.
